DEADZONE

1. Find the server

   In the DayZ Launcher, open the Community tab and search for DeadZone. Or use Direct Connect with 217.208.71.201:2302.

2. Download the mods

   The launcher shows the mods the server needs. Subscribe to them all and wait until Steam has finished downloading before you join.

3. Pick a spawn

   Choose Chernogorsk, Elektrozavodsk, Berezino or The Wild in the spawn menu.

4. Join the Discord

   Wipe news, events and support all happen there. It is also the easiest place to find a group.

1. Find the smoke

   Every extract is marked with a column of smoke and is shown on your map.

2. Walk in

   Step into the extract and you are moved to the underground Deadzone Trader.

3. Trade

   Buy and sell with the three traders. You are safe while you are down there.

4. Head back up

   When you leave, you come out near the extract you went in from. The server remembers which one.

1. Pick your spot

   At least 200 m from any military area. Your group may only have one base, so choose well.

2. Get a Terminal

   Buy one from the traders, or craft it with 1 rope and 3 wooden sticks. The Terminal replaces the vanilla plot pole.

3. Place the Terminal

   It protects everything within a 30 m radius. Build your base inside that circle.

4. Build

   Walls, floors, gates and more come from BaseBuildingPlus. Lock your doors and gates with a code lock.

5. Store your loot

   Use storage from MMG Base Storage, plus safes and lockable containers.

6. Charge the uplink

   Interact with the Terminal to charge its uplink to 100 %. Top it up every time you are home.

1. Scout

   Find the base, count the walls between you and the loot, and watch for activity.

2. Gear up

   Raid tools are sold at the Black Market. It is not a safezone, so go armed. Bring enough to get through every layer.

3. Breach

   Blow the walls or gates, torch the safes and containers, and cut the wire.

4. Get out

   The owners get a Raid Alert, so expect company. Extract and sell what you took.

The first round starts 30 to 60 minutes after a restart, then every 2 to 4 hours. One group has to hold the zone alone for 15 minutes while soldier zombies spawn inside it.

Keycards drop from crates and loot. Each card opens a specific door, and behind those doors are their own loot tables: medical, high-tier military, sniper caches, explosives and night vision.
